A six-month Mentorship Honouring the cycles of death, rebirth & embodied knowing.
Begin again, with your bones.
Something in you is ready to let go.
You sense a shifting, a soft collapse of what no longer serves. You stand on the threshold of your next self, both curious and unsteady at the mystery of what is to unfold.
Rowan & Bone is a container for that in-between: where endings are honoured, where the void is held, and where your body’s secret languages are remembered.
We will travel together through seasonal cycles of descent, surrender, emergence – guided by somatic practice, trance, ritual, plant-spirit work, and your body’s own wisdom.
As you move through these months, you will unlearn what you no longer need; you will find your voice again; you will re-emerge as someone more aligned than ever to your soul’s terrain.
For womb keepers who feel the shift
You may already be “awake”, but feel scattered, overthinking, disconnected.
You long for a new way of being that returns to your wild cyclical nature.
You want to rest in your body, to speak from your inner core, to navigate transitions with grace and depth.
You’re drawn to lineage, threshold work, plant wisdom, and rituals that speak to the bones.
The Mythology of Threshold Work
Why we dwell on the edge places.
Since the earliest stories, women have been the keepers of thresholds; the ones who midwife life, death, and the spaces between.
In Celtic lore, the Rowan tree stood at the gate of the Otherworld; its red berries were charms of protection, its roots bridges between worlds.
Across Norse tradition, the Volva and Seeress sat at the edge of village and wild – neither here nor there – speaking what was seen in the unseen.
Threshold work is the practice of meeting change as sacred.
It asks us to honour every ending as initiation; to recognise that decay is part of creation; to remember that transformation is necessary.
In a world that rushes toward constant growth, threshold work teaches stillness, surrender, and the art of allowing life to compost what has served its time – so new shoots can rise in right season.
This is the rhythm Rowan & Bone invites you to live by.

FAQs
What is the Wheel of the Year Pilgrimage?
The Wheel of the Year Pilgrimage is a sacred journey through the eight seasonal festivals rooted in Celtic and earth-based traditions. It’s a guided experience of deep reconnection with the cycles of nature, the land, and your inner wisdom.
Do I need any prior experience with spiritual or earth-based practices?
Not at all. The pilgrimage is open to all women who feel called, whether you’re just beginning your path or have been journeying with the Wheel for years.
Can I join for just one ceremony or do I need to commit to the full year?
While the full cycle offers the deepest transformation, it is possible to miss individual sabbats and you will still receive the manual with practices. The immersion must be paid in full regardless of missed dates.
What kind of practices are included in the ceremonies?
Each gathering includes a blend of guided rituals, meditations, storytelling, womb wisdom, seasonal magic, and connection with the land, often incorporating herbalism, sound, movement, and circle sharing. There are also some womb based healing practices and group healing work.
Will we be outdoors?
Yes, much of the pilgrimage takes place outdoors in nature, as we honour the elements and ancestral traditions in wild and sacred places. Be prepared for all weather!
Is accommodation or food provided?
Yes there is the option to book accommodation in the cottage or tipis directly with Coskewis. Some events include home-grown vegetarian lunches. These elements may vary depending on the sabbat gathering. You’ll receive full details after booking or upon enquiry.
Can I bring my child, pet or partner?
This pilgrimage is designed as a space for women to journey deeply with themselves and each other. At this time, it’s not open to children, pets or partners unless explicitly stated for a specific event.
Is this Accredited training?
No. This is not training. Though a certificate of attendance awarded on completion, and PDF manuals are given after each ceremony.
