This Level one Reiki course is for absolute newbies ready to learn the art of this transformative healing medium.
This course focuses on energy healing and covers all the basics you need to know about working with energy. You will receive four attunements which will enable you to channel Reiki energy. Courses comply with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reiki and the Core Curriculum of the Reiki Council. Each class is limited to 4 places.
Held in a beautiful, bright studio just outside of Helston, we are gifted with stunning land to walk in summer, and a cosy woodburner in winter.

Rooted in the Japanese lineage of Usui Reiki, it works by channelling universal life force energy through the hands to promote healing, clarity, and deep inner peace.

What You Will Learn
- Perform a Reiki treatment on yourself and others
- Demonstrate the healing hand positions
- Describe the history, origins and principals of Reiki and how it works

- Set up a treatment couch and demonstrate client care

Please note: Your Reiki Level 1 certificate is awarded after 70 hours of logged home practice after the training.

What is Reiki Level 1?
Reiki Level 1 is the foundational initiation into Reiki energy healing. You’ll receive your first attunement, learn how to channel Reiki for yourself and others, and begin your journey into energy awareness, healing, and self-trust.
Is the training in person or online?
Trainings are usually held in person to allow for deep energetic connection and practice, though occasional online options may be offered. You can check the current format when booking.
Do I need any previous experience with energy work?
No prior experience is needed. This training is designed for complete beginners as well as those who feel ready to deepen their connection to intuitive healing and the unseen realms.
What will I learn in the training?
You’ll learn the history and principles of Reiki, how to give a full Reiki treatment, hand positions, grounding practices, energetic boundaries, and tools to support your self-healing journey. You’ll also receive a Reiki Level 1 manual and certificate.
What happens after the training?
After your Reiki Level 1 attunement, you’ll enter a 21-day self-healing integration period. You’ll be supported with guidance on daily practice, journaling prompts, and ongoing access to a community or mentorship if you wish to deepen your path.
